ACT 20’26

Amplify, Connect, Thrive Support Group

What is ACT 20'26:

Amplify, Connect, Thrive Support Group

ACT 20’26 is a community-led support group programme created to support underrepresented families during pregnancy, childbirth, and early parenthood.

This initiative is designed to help people connect, feel supported, and access practical care through health checks, culturally sensitive guidance, and tailored support services.

At its heart, ACT 20’26 recognises that community connection is protective and that no one should have to navigate this journey alone.

Create safe, supportive spaces for connection and shared experience

Improve access to culturally sensitive guidance and practical support

Strengthen confidence during pregnancy and early parenthood

Build pathways into appropriate care and services

Why This Project Matters

Support groups can make a meaningful difference.

They can:

  • Reduce stigma around seeking help

  • Build confidence and knowledge

  • Create a sense of belonging and shared understanding

  • Help people find the right support at the right time

For many underrepresented families these spaces can be a vital bridge to feeling supported, informed, and connected.

How People Can Get Involved

There are a number of ways to take part, depending on what feels right:

  • Join support group sessions

  • Access guidance, health checks, and shared resources

  • Take part in conversations and reflective activities

  • Support group sessions by bringing your friends, loved ones or family to them

  • Help shape resources and programme content

  • Contribute to feedback and evaluation of services
